Why Unified Collegiate
Six reasons schools join — and stay.
Weekly primetime broadcasts
Featured Varsity matches stream live every weekday at 7pm CT. Production studio, full graphic packages, story-driven coverage.
Bids to CCC national competitions
Our online season feeds bids to the Riot Games College Championship and additional CCC national competitions.
The Clash LAN finals
Three days in Indianapolis, six titles, Championship + Challenger brackets. The LAN destination of the season.
Structured weekly competition
Eight-plus weeks of regular-season play across six titles. Skill-based divisions, advance scheduling, reschedule policy that actually works.
Career-track student roles
Two additional student positions per team — marketing and sports management. Real-world internship credit, real portfolio output.
Governance + production support
Member-driven bylaws and budget, professional tournament ops, OBS/vMix packages for JV self-broadcasting. ADs get a partner, not a vendor.
What's new in 2026-2027
Pick a membership tier
Fixed-price tiers replace the old negotiated pricing. The application will auto-recommend a tier based on how many titles you enter — you can adjust on the review page before submitting.
1-2 titles. Online-only eligible. Best fit for new or small programs testing varsity esports.
3-5 titles. The competitive middle. Most programs land here.
6+ titles. LAN priority. For programs running a full varsity calendar.
Two tracks per team
For each team you enter, pick a track. The same online regular season; the LAN Track also travels to The Clash. Below 8 LAN commits per title, that title runs online-only and LAN teams get a refund.
Online regular season + The Clash. Includes competition entry, production, merch, prize pool, awards. $500 refundable deposit per team holds the slot through roster lock.
Online regular season + online playoffs. Same schedule, same standings. No travel required. $500 refundable deposit per team. A and B teams allowed (independent records).
Six titles for 2026-2027
Commitment timeline
Firm dates published in the Director Brief. Plan your AD budget approvals around these milestones.
Signup opens. Declare your tier and tracks — no payment required to declare.
Early commit deadline. $500/team deposit due. 50% forfeit window opens.
Roster lock. Schedule published. Full deposit forfeit window opens.
The Clash · Indianapolis. Three days, six titles, two brackets per title.
Online season: September 1, 2026 — March 2027 (two phases). Exact Clash dates confirmed by October 2026.
Refundable deposit · clear withdrawal policy
The $500 deposit per team replaces "trust us, we'll show up." It also protects the programs that do commit — forfeited deposits subsidize the rest.
Deposit returned in full. Team fees refunded. No questions, no friction.
$250 forfeited per team. Team fees still refunded — we can rebook the slot.
$500 forfeited per team. Team fees non-refundable. Roster is locked.
If UEA cancels a title (below the 8-team LAN minimum, or any other reason on our end), you get a full refund of all fees and deposit.
How the application works
Tell us your program, director, and which titles you're entering — team count and track per title. We auto-recommend a tier.
Confirm tier, teams, and the upfront total. Submit when ready — your AD gets clear numbers to plan against.
After we review and approve the application, UEA issues an invoice for membership + per-team fees + deposit. Invoices go out the first of July. No payment widget on this site.
What member programs say
"I have been with Unified since its inception. They have created gaming environments not only for our players but also for our communities. Not many tournament organizers have the experience or quality that Unified offers."
"Unified has been a great experience so far with making collegiate competitions feel as high stakes as possible. With high quality production, fun LAN events and regional rivalries it's been a blast."
"Unified has been a major staple of competition for us with easily some of the best LAN and broadcast events that we've been a part of in collegiate. Every year they get better and the competition gets stronger."
