WICHITA, KANSAS, May 13, 2021 - Unified Esports Association is excited to once again partner with Riot Games to host and produce the 2021 LCS Proving Grounds Qualifier, this summer operating as the exclusive Tier 1 tournament organizer and the last chance tournament for teams seeking entry into the LCS Proving Grounds main event. Fresh from producing the Round 32 and Round 16 broadcasts for Riot Scholastic Association of America’s College Championship bracket this May--and having run the first of three TIer 1 tournaments for the Spring Proving Grounds Circuit--Unified has established itself as a premier League of Legends operator in North America. In addition to hosting physical collegiate events in the ‘Midwest Esports Conference’, Unified’s premier online league ‘Upsurge Esports’ is wrapping up its 13th concurrent season. Competitions for the Unified Grand Prix begin Monday August 9th, and will premiere live on Twitch.tv/Academy and Twitch.tv/UnifiedLive. Starting with Challengers Uprising’s ‘Summer Sprint’ on May 27th, the first of three Tier 2 tournaments, teams will have the opportunity to qualify directly into the Proving Grounds or earn entry into the Unified Grand Prix event.
