Unified Premier: The New Face of Upsurge Esports

Unified 5/28/2021

After completing its 13th concurrent season of the Upsurge Premier League, we are proud to announce the new face for your top amateur, collegiate, and semi-pro esports competitions. Upsurge Esports is now Unified Premier--to go along with our new look, we’ve also freshened up our online divisions!

Fans familiar with previous seasons will recognize acronyms such as UPL, now standing for the Unified Premier experience. Whether you’re looking to apply for a top competitive league, or you’re just getting started on your esports adventure, new offerings such as the Unified Community Leagues will help bridge the gap between skill levels while still providing a structured, competitive environment with Unified tournament operators. The full list of divisions offered include Unified Premier League, Unified Advanced League, Unified Minor League, Unified Junior League, and Unified Rookie League.

Games offered this season include League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, and Valorant. Between the games and divisions offered this summer, there is over $20,000 cash on the line. Rainbow Six Siege and Rocket League will have two rounds of Open Qualifiers on June 12th and June 18th. Teams can apply for League of Legends and VALORANT by completing applications before June 20th. Click here to see the full list of Premier competitions and their application deadlines.

A full list of all upcoming competitions is available online, including registration for Unified Collegiate, with registration for Fall competitions opening today! Collegiate players will have the chance to compete in a series of online competitions as part of the new Varsity experience, and a select few schools will be accepted into the 2021-2022 academic year for the Midwest Esports Conference! (Teams interested in joining this year's traveling Midwest Esports Conference should reach out to our MEC Director via email.)
