MEET THE TEAM, GIVEAWAYS, & MORE SUMMER FUN!

Anyone else waking up today and realizing "how the heck is it July already?!?!" because honestly, same. It's been such a quick yet amazing year for Unified. In the past months, we got to work with so many amazing partners both renting out our equipment and doing full setups for events. This past month specifically, we really buckled down and worked on filling out the 2023-2024 Midwest Esports Conference. It might be a fast paced year but we're glad you all are here for the ride.

There are tons of awesome events coming up this month and we're still looking to continue to help others grow their communities and bring Esports and gaming to any events that need it. Let's get ready for an amazing July!

UNIFIED SPOTLIGHT
Name: Michael Christoph - MikeSixer
Age: 31
Role: Private Contractor
What you do: Bartender, TO, Broadcast, Smash Community Expert (I hosted a 55+ person event at my home.)
Mission/Goal in Esports: To be involved in Event planning, social media management, broadcasting, and even some content creation.

MikeSixer puts the 'art' in 'party'. Not just because as a bartender, he makes video game related drinks, but because whenever you've got Mike on your contractor lineup, he brings an amazing attitude, hard work, and tons of experience. From setting up events to running our tournaments, Mike has been a big part of the LAN experience at Unified. He's helped us learn more about the Smash community even though he won't ever let anyone play the clearly best character Steve because of some weird rules (not mad.) Passion is a word thrown around in the esports world a lot and Mike is a perfect example of this. By day, he's a bartender in the KC Metro area and by night, he's lifting palettes, running tournaments, and running broadcasts. What Mike adds to our community in event experience is only the surface of this 'Social Butterfly.' The ultimate goal in esports is to find where you fit in and how you can use your skills to help progress an industry you love and that's what Mike is aiming to do with interest in Social Media, Content, and Events.

Working with Mike has made our events and our setup so much better and we know he can do the same for you. Thanks Mike for bringing the party with you to Unified events. ??

We've been hard at work the past few months with the 2023-2024 MEC expansion. It's going to be so cool to see 3 new game titles represented as well as many new schools that are being announced in the following weeks. We just want to take a moment to thank everyone for considering joining this year and for all the amazing conversations we've had with coaches and directors.

The Summer fun continues as Unified has partnered with so many events and communities to bring you esports and gaming. The Fighting Game Community better get ready because we're coming with Super Smahs Bros, Street Fighter 6, and many more titles as we take a trip around the US to work with all our amazing partners. The hype started this past month with Space Force and Anime Fest Wichita and we continue with 3 events this month. Midwest Esports Conference - Two events coming this Sept 16-17 & Nov 11-12!

For the past 7 years, we at Unified have been building a brand on the foundation of building up a community through our events and providing fierce competition to the Esports community. This year, we've gotten to showcase our experience and knowledge by working with other events to help bring their vision to life. We have two ways we've been able to do this.

Equipment Rentals: We've got quite the stockpile of event equipment from PCs to consoles to broadcast setups, and this year, we've been able to loan those out to many communities in order to help them build their events.
Esports Festivals: From gaming communities to getting to work this past month with Space Force and the military, we're bringing esports fun to all levels of gamers. We're able to do setup, teardown, tournament operations, fun gaming zones, and even
